Mural paintings, inscriptions, and statues found in the temple educated people on varied subjects such as literature, warfare, archaeology, astronomy and meditation. Your tour ends with a visit to Wat Benchamaborpit (also known as the Marble Temple). The rest of the day is free at leisure to explore Bangkok on your own.

Day 4 Bangkok (B/L)

Water has always played a major part in Thai life. This morning witness Thai-style canoes laden with colorful and succulent fruits, vegetables and sweets, gently plying their way through the canals at Damnern Saduak. On the way to lunch, stop at Phra Pathom Chedi, the largest Pagoda in Southeast Asia. A special Thai lunch is served at the Rose Garden Cultural Centre. Afterwards enjoy a traditional cultural reenactment of a Thai wedding ceremony, elegant fingernail dancing, traditional bamboo dancing, Thai boxing, and an elephant show. Return to Bangkok in the late afternoon.
