Strong Global Performance Leads to Malaysia Twin Deal ++ Campaign Extension

NEW YORK – The Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) announced that the successful rewards program for Meeting & Incentive groups, the Malaysia Twin Deal ++ (MTD ++), has been extended until June 2014, due to popular demand and strong global performance.

Named after the iconic Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur, MTD++ is an effort supporting Tourism Malaysia’s objective to welcome 28 million tourists to experience the country’s unique culture and recognized hospitality under the Visit Malaysia 2014 campaign.

The successful campaign has been offering rewards for both incentive planners and participants, and enhances the travel experience for incentive groups and international corporate meetings through its twin programs, Deal 1 and Deal 2. Exclusive privileges included in Deal 1 for delegates range from welcome gifts, and Malaysian cultural performances, to local “Makan-Makan” cuisine experiences. Deal 2 offers exciting incentive rewards for meeting planners such as a vacation for two in Kuala Lumpur, accommodations at a 5-star hotel, and an Apple iPad mini. This is applicable for agents who bring in an accumulative 500+ participants.

In addition, MTD++ has collaborated with participating hotels in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Langkawi, Sabah and Sarawak to include special benefits to corporate groups. These special value-add items include discounts on meeting packages, complimentary rooms and free welcome amenities. The impressive line-up of participants includes over 30 high-end hotels including The Ritz-Carlton Kuala Lumpur, Le Meridien Kota Kinabalu, Hilton Kuching Hotel, and Berjaya Tioman Resort.

To qualify for MTD++, all confirmed bookings must be made by June 30, 2014 for group arrivals this year. To find out more about MTD++, meeting planners and incentive agents can visit http://www.myceb.com.my/promotions .
