Visit Malaysia Year 2014 Grand Launch is Almost Here

LOS ANGELES –Visitors are invited to come and celebrate the grand launch of Visit Malaysia Year (VMY) 2014 on January 4th at Merdeka Square Kuala Lumpur where a dazzling display of fireworks and pyrotechnics effects will fill Malaysia’s skyline with festive colors. This much-awaited evening will mark the official commencement of VMY 2014.

Merdeka Square will come alive with cultural music, cultural performances, 1Fabulous Street Food galore, impressive 3D mapping and multimedia showcase—a night definitely worth experiencing! The launch of VMY 2014 promises to be one of the nation’s most captivating moments in celebrating 1Malaysia Truly Asia! 



From aromatic Malay dishes to piping hot Chinese delicacies and spicy Indian fare, Malaysia is a food lover’s paradise! The 1Fabulous Street Food festival will allow visitors to taste stapled Malaysian dishes from different regions of Malaysia—a must for all foodies! On the list of ‘must-try’ at the food festival are char kay teow and satay, of course!
