Discover Malaysia at the Los Angeles Travel & Adventure Show 2013
Tourism Malaysia Los Angeles (TMLA) invites you to stop by their booth at the 8th Los Angeles Travel & Adventure Show to discover what Malaysia has to offer. Attendees can speak to Malaysia specialists to learn about the country’s culture, attractions and activities.
TMLA will organize several activities during the show, allowing attendees to experience Malaysia. Activities include the following:
• Malay mock wedding: A traditional Malay wedding ceremony will take place at the booth, giving participants deeper insight into local traditions.
• Teh tarik sampling: Participants will be able to savor a local favorite – teh tarik, a frothy mixture of black tea and sweet, condensed milk.
• Traditional games: Attendees can try their luck playing traditional Malaysian games that date back centuries.
• Culture performance: The Malaysian culture dance troupe will perform a cultural show at the Global Beat Stage. The first performance will take place on Saturday from 2:20 – 2:40 p.m. and the second will take place on Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
In addition, one lucky winner will have the opportunity to experience Malaysia by winning a five day / four night trip to Kuala Lumpur. Two additional winners will receive an iPod nano.
Several tour operators will also be stationed at the TMLA booth, ready to answer questions or book trips to Malaysia. Asialuxe Holidays will feature a special wedding package based on Prince William and Kate Middleton’s visit to Sabah last year. Other tour operators include Globotours, Sayang Holidays and Scuba Travel Ventures.
